The first one!

Well, there I was staring at my full closet with the thought that I have nothing for the first blog.. @-) I picked up one outfit and started pondering if it it blog worthy! :!! Before this I would not think so much and usually that led to good outfits I think.
Sigh! I will take sometime to get over this blog consciousness in my head... :-q

So whats this post is about!

I spent sometime thinking about this very same question. What should my first blog post be about? You know, its about that first impression right!? Haha...
I was thinking 'Oh.. Labor day here is just around the corner and my post will be out that time. So should I start with a fall post or transition wear?' OR 'Should I go for a work wear post?'. I was leaning towards the second option as we are in work wear 70% of the week and most of the time it becomes monotonous like our routine. What say! I even got started with some photos for it.. But.... :)

Hmmm, before you all think that I am dragging this too much ~X( and converting my so called style blog into a story blog I will tell you what this post is about! :D
In this post I have 3 of my favorite weekend daytime outfits. Weekend day out style is one of my favorite type as we have so many options to pick from. I wore these outfits many times this summer here and continue to wear until the weather permits.

So here goes.....

#1 All white..

I absolutely love wearing white on whites. They say wear whites from Memorial day[May end] to Labour day[Sept beginning]. Officially that is Summer here. But I would wear this on any day the weather permits. I feel that it gives an effortless elegance and its always classic. Here I am wearing a midi textured skirt with a plain white sleeveless top.

I have accessorized this differently to create 3 looks -

Style 1 
In the first one I am wearing 'The Choker trend'. I really like the trend this year. I think it simply elevates your look. I am wearing a DIY white lace choker and got my hair tied up to create a sleek top knot look. I added a tan belt around the waist. For bag I have a hexagon shaped envelope multi textured brown shade shoulder bag [Arrey wah! So many adjectives] :D. And shoes are my crush this year - The lace up leopard prints. =D7

Style 2 
For the second look I have a color blocked scarf around my neck and wearing a black block heels. Even this is lace up style shoes. :)

Style 3
I have the last look in very casual style. I have my hair down and same accessories as first one minus the choker. If I have to phrase these looks then 1 and 2 are downtown chic look[I actually wore the 1st look in my last LA trip for a city stroll] and the 3rd one is a relaxed walk in the park kind of look.

#2 That easy dress..

Everyone needs that easy go to dress when you literally have 2 minutes to show up ready. This is my go to dress for that. I can easily style it up or style it down depending on where I am going. Sometimes I wear it with gold colored strappy flat sandals or brown gladiator wedges if I am out for a short while and there is not much of walking. If I know I have to walk a lot then I go with sneakers which I have in the photos below. I am sorry but I have to talk about these sneakers. I own these from almost more than 2 years now[Its actually visible on the sneakers ;) ] and absolutely love them. They are so versatile and chic. I usually never leave a chance to wear them..
And oh oh oh.. I forgot to mention about this oversized clutch. Its so girly and colorful to instantly cheer you and your outfit up :D

#3 Go Oxford

Some of you may have seen me in this outfit on Instagram. I really like the vibe of this outfit. It depicts that perfect feminine vibes with a little bit of masculinity. I have worn a simple pink pleated skirt which is about knee length. I paired this with a plain classic sky blue shirt and brown oxford shoes. I truly enjoy wearing outfits in this style.
And for the bag here I have Michael Kors =D7 [Need I describe anything here? :D]

#4 ......
Yep! There is a #4.. Surprise!! This is my wild card pick for this post.
I paired up 2 bright colors RED and Strawberry PINK. I have skin color cami underneath the red lace top[Who doesn't like lace? ;) I think the skin color cami adds nice sheer look to the lace top] with flared sleeves from elbow. =D7 And for pants they are regular cropped slim fit cotton pants. As the colors of my outfit are bright enough I am going with black quilted handbag and pointy toe flats.

While reading this, some of you may wonder that I put in multiple styles for the first look and for the remaining 3 I did not. Well, this is my first outfit post. I wanted to give a sense of the content and style you can expect from my blogs. So I went with more the merrier kinda funda here :) Future blogs will definitely continue to have multiple outfits but will also be consistent.
